There's no way I'm NOT making an apple-blueberry, so, you're all gonna just have to persevere while we keep the streak going! I'm sorry, but, it's two pies till the next loss. Mike Reiss and Tedy Bruschi break down the New England Patriots' upcoming game

Tom Brady
Every week during the season, Mike Reiss and Tedy Bruschi break down the New England Patriots' upcoming game. This week's breakdown is on Monday night's game against the Miami Dolphins at Sun Life Stadium (8:20 p.m., ESPN) in Miami Gardens, Fla.:

Mike: Here we go again, Tedy. A trip to Miami, and you know what that means as well as anybody. This has always been a tough place for the Patriots to win, regardless of the type of season the Dolphins are having.

Tedy: Early on in my career, the reason we had some trouble is that they were a really good team. Then you have the South Florida atmosphere and humidity. It's not New England, I'll tell straight up, that heat is a beast! It's real. Overall, there is a lot of adversity you have to overcome -- on the road, the heat, the crowd, a good team.

Mike: One week ago, the biggest Patriots questions seemed to be about what happened to the offense in the second half against the Jets when they were held scoreless. Now it's all about the defense after the Bills, who entered as the NFL's lowest-ranked attack, moved the ball with relative ease on them. Buffalo punted just once in the game.

Tedy: Fundamentally, the Patriots are having some problems right now on defense. Some examples are rookie cornerback Devin McCourty getting his eyes caught in the backfield and getting beat on double moves; second-year cornerback Darius Butler and his penalties; second-year defensive lineman Ron Brace, when he's taking on an offensive tackle to two-gap, getting turned instead of pressing the offensive tackle and staying square; and veteran outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain getting his eyes caught looking in the backfield while having trouble setting the edge in the running game and getting back into zone coverage. In situations like these, you hope that the leaders of your team will bring some of the younger guys along, but then you look at the fact that safety Brandon Meriweather is supposed to be one of those leaders, and he's having fundamental problems as well, freelancing a little bit. You saw it on the quick bubble screen to C.J. Spiller on the 5-yard touchdown catch last week when he took the bad angle. Fundamentally, that's not the angle you take when you are the outside defender. You want to play that from the outside in, because your teammates are all inside. Forcing it back to the pursuing defenders is the proper technique to use. So these are some of the problems you're seeing.

Mike: I think the easy trap is to take this small sample size and say the defense is in trouble. While no one is saying it looks good on defense right now, and there are certainly some troubling signs, this team is still 2-1 and it's only Week 4 of the season.

Tedy: There is a long way to go for the Patriots to fix these problems. They have the bye week coming up after this game. Each week, as younger players get more reps in game situations and playing situational football, they will get better. Right now I recognize mostly technical problems and not work ethic deficiencies, and that's a good sign.

Patriots defense vs. Dolphins offense

Mike: There are a few places we could start here, Tedy. Let's kick it off with Miami's big offseason acquisition: receiver Brandon Marshall. He leads the Dolphins with 22 receptions and has one touchdown. One theme that I have heard at the Patriots' facility this week is that Marshall is almost like a tight end because he's so big, and he creates some matchup problems. The addition of Marshall ties in to the overall Dolphins team: They're big and physical, specifically in the running game.

Tedy: Marshall may resemble some tight ends in size, but his skill set is nowhere close to one. He's fast, he's physical and his ball skills are second to none. The Dolphins are a power running team with a very solid offensive line. I don't think their offensive line is talked about enough. They have one of the best left tackles in the league in Jake Long. On the other side, I always saw Vernon Carey, the right tackle, as a mauler. He wanted to get you in and engulf you. Their starting left guard, Richie Incognito, is one of those dirty players. He'll push you, he'll grab your facemask. He'll try every trick in the book to get you blocked. He's the type of guy that you hate playing against. He's a hothead. If there is a scrum, you can bet that he will be in the middle of it.

Mike: Good point. The line is a good place to start with the Dolphins when considering that coach Tony Sparano's background is as a line coach. It often seems that they'd like nothing more than to control a game on the ground, and you were on the field when they sprung the Wildcat on the Patriots in 2008.

Tedy: They unveiled it against us and had huge success. It was one of the few times in my 13-year career where I felt we were unprepared defensively. But I think now the league is getting used to it. They didn't have success with it last week. I counted a handful of plays they tried it against the Jets and these were the totals: minus-1, 4, 0, 5, 4, 1. There was an incomplete pass and they also tried a reverse to Patrick Cobbs. So you can do a lot of things out of it. Does the lack of Wildcat success against the Jets mean the Patriots won't see it? Not at all. The Patriots will see it. The Patriots are an adjustment defense -- when they see a formation, there is a particular call they have to make to adjust to it. That's what the Wildcat does -- it gets defenses communicating, adjusting, and all of a sudden they find themselves on their heels and here comes the Dolphin downhill running game. I think the Patriots' defense knows it now, but how some of the young players react to seeing it for the first time will be something to look for.

Mike: The Bills ran one Wildcat play in last Sunday's game against the Patriots and it was a 9-yard gain for running back Marshawn Lynch in the second quarter. So far this season, the Dolphins split their carries between Ronnie Brown (37 rushes, 199 yards) and Ricky Williams (35 rushes, 120 yards). Given the shakiness and youth of the Patriots' defense to this point, this is not a matchup that I see as favorable to them.

Tedy: With that extra blocker in the box, it makes the Wildcat hard to defend, and the way the Dolphins run it, it's also very physical. Upon first glance it resembles a trick play formation, but the Dolphin version must also be respected as a power running formation and that can be difficult to grasp.

Mike: Speaking of physical, here is a name to circle on the depth chart: Lousaka Polite. He's the Dolphins' fullback and ESPN's Stats & Information department came up with this gem: Since 2009, no player in the NFL has converted more when it's third-and-1 or fourth-and-1. Polite has moved the chains 20 consecutive times in those situations. That's the type of consistency that quarterback Chad Henne, now in his third season, is seeking. What do you think of Henne?

Tedy: He's still in that developmental process. I've been watching him closely. I think he has a good arm and throws a quality ball. But I think his decision-making process is a little bit slow. I think he's making sure of reads. Once he sees the safeties split, or once he sees man-to-man coverage, he knows what the answer is but he double checks just to be sure and with that he looks late at times when delivering the ball to his receivers. What I saw the other night against the Jets is that when he comes off the field in the Wildcat, he goes straight to his offensive coaches and they give him adjustments. That's coming within drives. It's another way the Wildcat helps them develop a young QB.

Mike: Before moving on, Tedy, I think we should also touch on a few of the other Dolphins' skill-position players: receivers Brian Hartline and Davone Bess and tight end Anthony Fasano. Patriots defenders talked this week about Hartline as a vertical threat, while Bess is more of a quick underneath target. Fasano is a good combination tight end. Bess was a big factor in Miami's Week 13 home victory over New England last season, catching 10 balls for 117 yards and a touchdown.

Patriots offense vs. Dolphins defense

Mike: First things first, the Dolphins' defense has a new coordinator in Mike Nolan. It's still a 3-4 defense but it's a bit of a different scheme than what they've played in recent years. The Patriots are familiar with it from going up against the Broncos, where Nolan was defensive coordinator last year.

Tedy: The Broncos had success against the Patriots last season. You can be sure that both teams will be looking back on that game in their preparations.

Mike: One of the big questions for the Dolphins entering the year was how they would transition at outside linebacker without having Jason Taylor and Joey Porter, who rank first and second on the NFL's active sacks list. The Dolphins have a rookie, Koa Misi, and a former Canadian Football League player, Cameron Wake, at the position. I've noticed that Wake seems to show up with a big play in the action I've seen.

Tedy: He set the CFL on fire, bringing quarterbacks down left and right. The question was "Can he do it in the NFL?" Watching him in the NFL, it looks like he can. He's a sleek, athletic linebacker. I think he still had problems last week against the Jets with run reads, setting the edge at times. In the truest form, he is a pass rusher off the edge, very athletic. I think you can run right at him though. You put that YY wing (two tight ends lined up together on the end of the line, with one on the line of scrimmage and one off in the wing) with Alge Crumpler and Rob Gronkowski, like we were talking about in "Bruschi on Tap" after last Sunday's game against the Bills, and you come right down on him. I don't think he could hold up against that. On the other side, with Misi, he's the opposite style of player. He isn't that sleek athletic pass rusher. When he rushes it's speed to power, which is when you come up the field with your speed and turn right into the offensive lineman and try to run him over. The offensive tackles think it's speed and get backpedaling to keep up and then here comes the bull rush and it can catch tackles off balance. He's much more of a physical player than Wake.

Mike: Elsewhere at linebacker, the Dolphins' big offseason acquisition on defense was inside linebacker Karlos Dansby from Arizona. I look at him as the Dolphins' version of Jerod Mayo. He seldom, if ever, comes off the field. They've also had some changes on the defensive line, specifically at nose tackle, where Randy Starks has kicked inside from end to replace Jason Ferguson.

Tedy: Then you have the secondary, and after watching the Dolphins-Jets game on Sunday night, I don't think there is any question which player the Patriots should be targeting: cornerback Jason Allen. Lined up against Braylon Edwards, Allen had a tough night. You saw a pass interference penalty in the end zone. He slipped on one short pass, missing a tackle. Not only was he beat, you saw poor technique, such as not turning his head when the ball was in the air or the inability to make a simple tackle. He didn't look like he was fast enough to cover Edwards. If you're watching that film, and then you see him on Randy Moss or Wes Welker on Monday, that's where you need to throw the ball. They have Vontae Davis on the other side at cornerback and he's been solid. At safety, Yeremiah Bell is good down in the box as a strong safety, but he also has issues in coverage. So you could see the Patriots test him as well.

Mike: In part because of Allen's struggles, my feeling is that the Patriots' best way to attack is through the air. While they will want to be balanced and mix in the run, I think the passing game will be the key.

Predictions

Mike: As we do each week, let's wrap it up with predictions. I think the Patriots have it in them to win this game -- we've seen the flashes -- but until they prove they can win a big game on the road I can't pick them after being burned in Week 2. I'm projecting a field-goal type game and will give it to the Dolphins, 27-24.

Tedy: It's Monday night, national television, all of America watching. This is a game that the New England Patriots are going to make a statement. I think the defense is going to come out and play well. Even though they beat the Bills and they're all saying the right things, they still feel like they have something to prove. This is a game when we will finally stop talking about the defense playing poorly and not rising up in big games, such as the playoff loss to Baltimore and last year's Monday night game in New Orleans. The Patriots will win a tough hard-fought game 24-14.

"D"-LICIOUS

GAME ONE IS IN THE BOOKS WITH A WELL BALANCED "W" NEXT TO IT. TOM BRADY AND THE PATS MAN HANDLED THE BENGALS FOR A GOOD THREE QUARTERS. I MUST SAY I DIDN'T SEE THAT COMING. A SHAKY PRESEASON AND A YOUNG DEFENSE MADE THE PATS LOOK A LITTLE INEXPERIENCED, BUT HOPEFULLY TODAY'S PLAY WILL STAND UP TO TIME. THE SEASON, AS IT LOOKS NOW, WILL BE VERY EXCITING. THE DEFENSE, WOW THE DEFENSE LOOKED SOLID FROM THE LINE PLAY ALL THE WAY TO THE SAFETY'S. THE OFFENSE'S SURPRISING RUNNING GAME AND NEW TIGHT ENDS WERE A SIGHT FOR SORE EYE'S. WELKER WAS WELKER AND IF BRADY AND MOSS CAN GET SOME BETTER TIMING ON THE DEEP ROUTE.... FORGET ABOUT IT.
THE JETS NEXT WEEK AT 4:15, SHOULD BE INTERESTING. PATS NEED A GOOD WEEK AT PRACTICE IF THE JETS ARE WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE. I HOPE WE WON'T NEED ANY JET HELICOPTERS. I'M OUT.

HEY FELLA'S ........... ITS ON!!!!!!!!!!

Wwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Randy Moss complained, before even one snap has been made in the 2010-2011 season, that while making $6,000,000 for this coming season, he hasn't received an offer for continuing to be a Patriot beyond this yet to be played season, and doesn't feel wanted. Of course, he didn't mention that Tom Brady hasn't been offered one yet either. But, you can't really blame him. After all he's "only" a 30 year old wide receiver and is "only" entering his 13th season as a pro. While nobody can question his numbers with the Pats, 48 games, 47 TD's, 3765 yds, 250 receptions, 15.1 yards/catch, and 78.4 yards/game, it must be pointed out that his attitude appears to have been good for the past three years - until now. I mean, really, the week before the opening game? How is that supposed to be good for the team? Does he not realize how this team works? NO ONE IS NOT EXPENDABLE. Attitude is critical inside and outside the locker room. Not feeling wanted? You're getting $6,000,000. How many places on this planet do you think you well get $6,000,000 for ANYTHING ELSE you can do? AND, you're a captain? Now is THAT leadership! One for one, and none for all! Go, Randy! When you started here, many people said you had changed, including me, and would be a team player. Go, Randy! But, some people never get it, maybe the Pats will live down to your expectations and let you do what you think they should let you do. Just go.

Pats write up from SI

NEW ENGLAND PATRIOTS

Pats wideout Wes Welker underwent surgery in February to repair the knee ligaments he tore near the end of the 2009 season.
AP
What the Patriots do best: Throw the ball.

The Patriots had the NFL's third-best passing attack in '09 (277 yards per game), and several factors suggest it should be even better than that this season -- if not up to its incredible standard from '07 (when New England gained 296 yards per game through the air, 25 more, on average, than any other team), then something close.

First, quarterback Tom Brady, who turned 33 in August, should by now have shaken off all of the latent rust he'd accrued after missing nearly all of the '08 season with a blown-out knee. Second, he now has more weapons than Randy Moss and Wes Welker (who appears to be at nearly full strength after his own knee injury, suffered during last season's Week 17) at his disposal, particularly in second-year wideout Julian Edelman and precociously skilled rookie tight ends Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez. Through the Patriots' first three preseason games, those three were all tied with Moss for the team lead with seven receptions.

What the Patriots need to improve: Rushing the passer.

Less promising so far in the preseason has been New England's ability to get to the quarterback. No Patriot has more than a single sack, and the team has just four, total. The loss of veteran defensive end Ty Warren has made the Patriots' front seven very thin and reliant on pressure from aging players like end Gerard Warren and outside linebacker Derrick Burgess, both 32. That means the Patriots might be in for many games similar to last Thursday's exhibition loss to the lowly Rams, in which they yielded 36 points and a combined 326 passing yards to rookie quarterback Sam Bradford and his no-name backups, Thaddeus Lewis and Keith Null. New England's offense will ensure that it will more often than not be on the right side of those high-scoring affairs, but it won't be easy.

What Patriot needs to step up: Outside linebacker Tully Banta-Cain.

Banta-Cain, 30 and in the second year of his second tour in New England (after two years with the 49ers), is set to start opposite Burgess, and will need to prove that his stellar 2009 -- his 9.5 sacks led the Patriots -- was not a fluke for a player who hadn't registered more than 5.5 sacks in any of his previous six seasons. "It was something I've always felt capable of doing," he said. "Last year I really got an opportunity to be on the field more, and I was healthy -- previous years I had been either a backup or I had injuries. Last year was really my first complete season of playing, and I think that was the biggest key." Now Banta-Cain enters 2010 as perhaps the biggest key to the Patriots' defense.

Predicted record: 9-7.

The Patriots' embarrassing 33-14 wild-card loss to the Ravens, in which they yielded 234 yards on the ground, served to expose just how far removed the team was from its glory days, which effectively ran up until it shocking, undefeated season-killing Super Bowl loss to the Giants in February 2008. This year's team is very different from that 18-1 iteration -- just 18 players remain from that season (not counting Ty Warren or the holding-out guard Logan Mankins). While the defense features a fair amount of young talent (like rookie inside linebacker Brandon Spikes, the former Florida Gator) with the potential to quickly develop, it is the offense that will bear the brunt of the Patriots' load. The offense, however, is talented enough to lead New England to a potential wild-card berth.

UFC 118...the corespondent is Back!!

Frankie Edgar vs. BJ Penn 2 is the headliner tonight at the TD Garden in Boston.

Here's how I see the main card fight shaking out:

Welterweight bout: Nate Diaz vs. Marcus Davis

Fantastic match up here. Huge fan of these two fighters, so it's a hard one to call. Both fighters will look to finish when they smell blood in the water. Davis has the advantage on the feet, but Nate's chin should keep him awake long enough to triangle Davis in the second round. Davis' BJJ has been steadily improving, but he hasn't had to deal someone with Nate's bottom game. Marcus loves to throw the heavy bombs while sitting in guard...when he misses, Nate will throw the leg over and sink it in.

Lightweight bout: Kenny Florian vs. Gray Maynard

Ken-Flo is a local Boston guy and SHED favorite. IMO Kenny is the number two lightweight in the world and that should be obvious after tonight. Gray is a dominate wrestler..Sherk 2.0...we all know that Kenny had trouble with Sherk's wrestling but Kenny has worked hard to work on his wrestling and we think he'll be able to defend the take-downs enough to pick Maynard apart with crisp striking. If he can take Gray down...it's all over. Kenny's BJJ is crazy aggressive and I can't recall ever seeing Gray on his back. If he doesn't cover up, he get "HELL-Bowed" until he gives up his back for a RN Choke in the second round.

Middleweight bout: Brazil Demian Maia vs. Mario Miranda

Don't know much about Miranda, but it's a safe bet that the UFC will be feeding Maia someone who isn't a strong striker. After his performance against the Spider, they'll look to match him up with someone who thinks they have a chance with Maia on the ground....and we all know that no one has a chance with Maia on the ground. This one will end 30 seconds after the fight hits the ground. Probably a few minutes into the first round.

Heavyweight bout: Randy Couture vs. James Toney

Crazy!!!! What can you say...My sources...mostly third hand interviews and podcasts (so take it how you will) say Toney is not training at all!! Although we'll certainly see his MMA focused regimen featured in the in pay per view roll in.

Toney may be a great boxer, but he's only going to get one shot at this before Captain America double legs him and GNP's him until the ref stops it in the first round.

People are making a big deal about Toney's power with the 4 ounce gloves, but Randy trains with pro boxers and should be comfortable taking that kind of punch, at least if he closes the distance so he doesn't take a fully extended power shot to the chin. I think Toney will be the one who is surprised by getting hit with MMA gloves, elbows etc...Don't be surprised in Randy turns the tables and puts Toney's lights out.

Lightweight Championship bout: Frankie Edgar vs. B.J. Penn

BJ in a romp. We know he always bounces back after a tough loss. Edgar is a great wrestler and has mastered the stick and move boxing style it takes to hang with the world's best before shooting for a take-down. However, I don't think BJ will mess around, trying to box his way to a win...as soon as he touches Frankie a bit with his boxing, he should look to take Edgar down and work for a quick submission in round 2.

That's it...the prelims are starting so got to go!!!

MOST UNCOMFORTABLE INTERVIEW EVER!!!!

Whoooo! Was Bill PISSED after tonight's game or WHAT!?!?!

"I don't know."

"We just got off the field."

"We never ran a play. We never ran a play. We never ran a play."

"It's tough to make an evaluation when we didn't get a first down in the first half."

It's going to be a Looooong week in Foxborough!

IT HAS BEGUN

THURSDAY NIGHTS PRESEASON PATS GAME WAS A SUCCESS. TOM BRADY AND COMPANY LOOKED SOLID AGAINST THE SUPER BOWL CHAMPS, NEW ORLEANS SAINTS. FIRST TEAMS ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BALL LOOKED GOOD. THE SHED 26 PATRONS WERE ALSO LOOKING GOOD. THE SHED DIDN'T HAVE A FULL HOUSE, BUT, IT IS PRESEASON. THE MENU HELD ITS OWN AND THE DARK AND STORMYS WERE AS GOOD AS THEY GET. THE PATS ARE GEARING UP FOR NEXT THURSDAY FOR THE SECOND PRESEASON GAME. HOPE TO SEE YOU ALL IN THE SHED!

Welker

I've been two of the Patriots training camp sessions in the past 2 weeks. Welker is by far the hardest worker in camp. He is on a completely different level than everybody else, no one is even remotely close. THe defense looks like crap, no pass rush, safety's are ok. The O-Line is below average . Sign Manikans (Spelling) or Brady is going to get real hurt .

See you at the Shed

“There was no vacation time,” Welker said. “A nice weekend here, a nice weekend there, or anything like that. It was six hours of work each day, making sure I was bringing it every day, and that was the toughest part.”

Food Rules?

Alright, Gentlemen,

A little pre-pre-season questioning . . .

What are the rules for food this year? Number of weeks between a dish? Number of dishes between weeks? How many weeks in a row can we have apple pie? How many weeks should Delaney bring Apple Crisp? Can we experiment with other dishes during pre-season? If a pre-season dish is deemed regular season worthy, will the same rules apply from pre-season to regular season? Oh, the stress! Oh, the strain! Oh, the excitement!

Shirts - Props or Poops?

I saw a couple of team jerseys the other day. One guy had a Trot Nixon shirt and I thought, "That's respectable. – Good guy. Clutch. Tough..."
Then I saw a guy with a Bledsoe jersey and thought, "I don't think so..."
What past players rate for you and when do they rate?
  • Manny: Poops (someday... I don't think so)
  • Brown - Troy that is: Props
  • Garciapara: Poops (someday... Props)
  • Orr: Props
  • Walker - Antoine that is: Poops (someday... Hmmm No)
Continue...

Openning Day? National Champions? Oh, what to do!?!?

I have to drive my wee bairn back to school, and don't anticipate being back till midnight. So, unless it's on Fox, I'll probably miss all of the openning day festuvities. If it IS on Fox, then, I'll meet you up there for the last 4 innings!

I don't believe that anyone has mentioned a national championship shed event, though, I see that JCONN has picked DUKE to "Go . . . All . . . The . . . WAY!" I can certainly understand the issues with back to back events on a holiday weekend, but, I was just wondering.

Ciao for now!

RIP: Mosi Tatupu

Former Patriots running back Mosi Tatupu has died at the age of 54, according to several news reports.

The Honolulu Star-Bulletin said Tatupu, a native of America Samoa who played 13 seasons for the Patriots, died Tuesday, but a cause of death was not known.

Barry Markowitz, a family friend, told the Star-Bulletin, "He had some health issues."

The Patriots drafted Tatupu in 1978 out of the University of Southern California. He was born in Pago Pago, American Samoa, and was a schoolboy football star at Punahou High in Honolulu. He held the Hawaii state record for career yards for 17 years, according to the newspaper's web site.

Tatupu was the head coach at King Philip High in Wrentham, where he coached his son, Lofa, who is now a linebacker for the Seattle Seahawks. He also coached running backs at Curry College in Milton.

Mosi Tatupu had 612 carries and 2,415 yards in his 14-year NFL career. After 13 seasons with the Patriots from 1978 to 1990, Tatupu played five games for the Los Angeles Rams in 1991 before ending his playing career.

Tatupu was primarily a blocking back and short-yardage specialist on offense, but was highly regarded for his special teams skills. He made the 1986 Pro Bowl as a special teamer and was named the NFL Alumni's Special Teams Player of the Year.

Tatupu played in 202 NFL games, including Super Bowl XX, when the Patriots lost to the Bears 46-10. He had 18 career touchdowns.

LIFE IS GOOD!

It's a gift! The best place in the whole world will be open for TWO GAMES sunday, not one!!!! May I extend my gratitude to "the powers that be" for their gracious understanding of the plight of man during the very stressful and nerve racking time know as "Playoffs!" And may I say to my fellow shedians, "Sheddie! It's ON!"

But I digress.

I wonder . . . could this monumental and historic gathering be a two pie event? Maybe, Apple AND Blueberry? Hmmm . . . the gratitude seems to so motivate it and demand it!

So, let it be written, so, let it be done!

It's good to be . . . The King!
It's better to be . . . A Shedian!

THE RAVENS WILL BE FLYING AROUND AND WE NEED TO SHUT {SHOOT} THEM DOWN EARLY. THE PATS HAVE HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE AND THE ...... SUDDEN DEATH

SATURDAY BEGINS A WHOLE NEW NFL SEASON. THE PLAYOFFS BEGIN AND ITS ONE AND DONE OR MOVE ON TO THE FOLLOWING WEEK. UNFORTUNATELY, FOR US PATS FANS, WE HAVE TO WAIT UNTIL SUNDAY TO SEE OUR LOCAL 22 TAKE ON THE RAVENS. POWER RANKINGS PLACE THE RAVENS AS THE SIXTH SEED AND RANK THE PATS AT NUMBER 4. LETS HOPE THAT STANDS UP WITH THE HORRIFIC LOSS OF NUMBER 83. HOPEFULLY THE PATS WILL PROVE THEY ARE A COMPLETE TEAM AND OVERCOME THIS ADVERSITY, RISE UP, AND GET TO THE NEXT ROUND. GO PATS I'M OUT.

Monday, January 4, 2010

Tears at your heart

A good guy goes down and it's painful to watch. Julian Edelman better step up and deliver this week against Baltimore. After all, he proved he's a gamer earlier in the year when Welker was out.

See all Shedians for an NFL marathon on Saturday. Beans...

Unfortunately the FNG and I will be traveling to Hudson for a game. Go Pats!
